| Summary: PLEASE READ. | ||
| All these reviews are leaving out one important bit of info.... First off, you HAVE to have a TV with an HD tuner built into it(an ATSC decoder), or have a set top box (like the Samsung 260) to be able to catch sd and hd channels. If your tv doesn't have that, this antenna will not help you catch sd and hd channels, only regular over the air analog ones (that will probbaly give you a snowy picture). Please note, SD and HD transmission it sent out via UHF and VHF signals, so any old antenna (rabbit ears) will work. This one fines tunes and rejects the "stray" signals better than the rabit ears, so you should get better/more SD and HD channels with it. I said "should", because the channels you get will get/find will depend on the area you are in, and the available SD and HD channels the local brodcasters are sending out. The closer you are to a major city, the more likely you will "catch" these SD and HD channels with this antenna. With that said, this antenna (when used in urban cities close to the brodcast tower... about 30-60 miles) does a very good job of receiving free over the air SD and HD signals. | ||

| Summary: Beats my rooftop Terk TV32 | ||
| Came free with a set. Purchased a Terk TV32 thinking I could raise signal from 70% to 90% or so. No luck, the roof antenna did worse - so now it's packed and waiting for eBay. | ||

| Summary: amazing HDTV quality | ||
| Yes, this little antenna works just as wonderful as most people said. I bought it after I read a lot reviews and it proved that I did correctly. I bought another Terk brand HDTV antenna before going to this Zenith. But the Terk doesn't work as I expected and it costs even double as this Zenith one. I returned Terk and got this Zenith finally. It works as soon as I installed it in 5 minutes. Got all Digital channels, not only HD, including 480i, 480p and 1080i. This zenith is worth to buy for everyone. I even discontinued my cable service. So a lot of money is saved by this little amazing funtioning antenna. | ||

| Summary: The best in-home HDTV antenna out there! - Manhattan high-rise | ||
| Don't settle for imitations, this is the one to get. I have tried the Terk model which also provided for local channels...that was garbage. After seeing what this ZHDTV1 model can do, I had to nick name my old antenna the "turd".
Terk had to be turned individually for every channel and barely could hold a signal. This one is turned in one direction and receives almost every channel broadcast. I live on the east side in Manhattan on the 21st floor and my antenna is pointed directly at a wall, behind which Empire State is hiding. My Samsung TV shows 4-5 bars of signal quality, and I think that's about a half of the maximum that an Antenna can do, but this antenna gives me the quality that is sufficient for me to praise it. I have tried to find an amplified version with no luck, but judging by the current performance, this works just fine. I had to buy mine on ebay, it was the last one at firty five bux. It was worth it!!! (that's for used) |

| Summary: Zenith Antenna | ||
| This really isn't any better than the radio shack antenna I already have. It's alright and for the $20 price tag, it's not a horrible deal. | ||
