Winegard PR-8800 Review #1
Rating: 5 (excellent) Nickname: ctgottapee Date: 2008-07-03
Summary: great under ch30 and lightweight
unlike the cm 4228 and most other top quality consumer uhf antennas, this one peaks in the lower uhf band, something i needed to pick up ch18 and ch22 from 65miles away. it is lightweight, so i was able to drag it up to the roof alone. build quality is ok, but it is a bit less rugged due to its aluminum lightweight. it is built well but can bend easily; not sure how it will hold up under wind/ice loads or how much minor alignments issues will affect it. shipping is also nice compared to hte 4228 as it can be folded and shipped more affordably.

Works almost as well as the Channel Master 4228. (almost)
