| Summary: great under ch30 and lightweight |
| unlike the cm 4228 and most other top quality consumer uhf antennas, this one peaks in the lower uhf band, something i needed to pick up ch18 and ch22 from 65miles away.
it is lightweight, so i was able to drag it up to the roof alone.
build quality is ok, but it is a bit less rugged due to its aluminum lightweight. it is built well but can bend easily; not sure how it will hold up under wind/ice loads or how much minor alignments issues will affect it.
shipping is also nice compared to hte 4228 as it can be folded and shipped more affordably. |
