| I installed this outdoors with a pre-amp in the \shadow\ of my house, about 15 feet above ground. My 2 story house is between the antenna and the transmitters. It works well, in my location the transmission of signals is in a 15 degree arc, thus I aimed the antenna to the low vhf transmitter and it brings it in from 20-25 miles.
