| I live about 40 straight line miles from the common antenna site for the Orlando metro area. My plan was to cut the cable and dump the dish to get TV broadcast off the air in HD. To date, I'm a little disappointed with this process. Some channels appear and then disappear the next week. The signal gets very pixeled (is that a word?) with rain or heavy moisture in the air. Do I need a taller mast? (no mountains in FLorida) Do I need an amplifier? | ||
