Lately we have been dealing with an increasing number of attempts to manipulate antennas ranking. Note: each person is allowed to post one and only one review for each antenna model. Exceptions can be made only under special circumstances when the reviewer feels that his earlier review must be corrected.
We have a sophisticated manipulation detection system in place and we will not tolerate any attempt to game the system and mislead consumers and our visitors. We reserve the right to delete any review that we feel is misleading or inappropriate and do that at our sole discretion. Thanks for understanding.
Also, from now on we require all reviews to be at least 100 words long. Short reviews, such as "a piece of junk" or "works as advertised" are not very helpful. Consider specifying more details. Elaborate on your location, the equipment you are using, reception quality of specific channels in your area. Check the word counter at the bottom when writing.

| Summary: Oh!....... its just a really super antenna fellas,...... just super! | ||
| When I recently purchased the brilliant new HD8200U, at first I was skeptical. Then I got a look at it, and the unit is nice (as was so on the hunky brute that did the install), sturdy enough, good materials, and my personal favorite; a big thick pole on which to mount it! I watched the sweaty guy as he simply mixed a good bit of concrete, poured it in the hole, and sank that hefty pole in clear to the anchor nuts! Delightful! I mean really super, and the fella had no trouble with it at all, a real man. Well anyhoo, I just love my reception; fabulous! Think I\ll even call Ramone back to install the amplifier, and service the pole! | ||

| Summary: wire connection | ||
| I didn't care for the box to connect the wire to .the snaps are not very secure ,the cover came off while I was pulling it up to the roof [I didn't have the wire connected ].I would feel more secure if it attached with screws. | ||

| Summary: Good antenna; fragile prior to installation | ||
| Installation was made difficult because some of the components broke off as we spread everything out. We fixed it, but had to get a bolt to replace the rivet that broke. This led to significantly more time outside on the roof in cold Ohio weather than we had anticipated. Why can't companies make quality components that don't fail during installation anymore? | ||

| Summary: Unbelievable Reception | ||
| I can't say enough about this antenna. Installation was a breeze, although I was surprised how large the antenna was once it was unfolded and assembled (huge). We live 45+ miles from St Louis, MO and[...] showed that we would have to go up 60 feet to get all the St Louis channels because we live in a valley. Of course, that was not an option for us. I took a chance on this antenna and after only 20 feet from the ground, not only did we get all of the channels in St Louis, but we also picked up two channels that are over 70 miles away. I attached it on pole to the side of our house so only a few feet are unsupported. I did install a pre-amp but I don't know how much it helped since I've not tried it without one. All channels are crystal clear and we have had no drop-outs or distortions so far. We had the antenna five month now with no problems. It's a little on the pricey side but well worth it. I would recommend this antenna to anyone requiring long distant reception. | ||
