Lately we have been dealing with an increasing number of attempts to manipulate antennas ranking. Note: each person is allowed to post one and only one review for each antenna model. Exceptions can be made only under special circumstances when the reviewer feels that his earlier review must be corrected.

Summary: Excellent reception
Picks up weak signals well. Need to turn it to adjust to best signal strength. Less flutter on converter signal indicator. Takes up more space than traditional rabbit ears.

Summary: works great, 80 miles from stations in foothills
I live on a ridgetop, and have great reception, and the Terk TV4 brings in all the channels perfectly! I was getting fair to good digital reception with just a bow-tie UHF antenna, but wanted all the channels, and got 'em with this Terk! After reading some of the other reviews here, it looks like people were trying to use this TV antenna for FM reception, and I don't think this unit is designed for that--no wonder it didn't work very well for them.

Summary: Waste of money
Bought a WinTV-HVR-1600 PCI tuner card for my XP Media Center PC. First I tried using the included FM antenna that came with the tuner card. It works ok, and allowed me to get about 5-6 stations. Then I bought the Terk TV-4 thinking it would get me a few more stations, and perhaps make the reception on the ones I already had better. It actually has worse reception than the thin little FM antenna that came free with the tuner card. Don't waste your money on this antenna. A coat hanger probably will give you better reception.

Summary: Was led in by the design but sadly that's all it does is look interesting.
Actually it may just look interesting so you have something to watch other than the signal this thing seems incapable of picking up:) My experience mirrors that of one of the above posters where the antenna did worse than no antenna and halved the number of channels I could receive. Sent it back the next day.

Summary: Good product
This product was easy to assemble and install. I purchased it for our DTV box. The antenna is located on top of our TV cabinet, and because it is so low in profile, one doesn't even see it. I highly recommend this product.
