Summary: This is definitly a good deal
I was skeptical like everybody else that this antenna was any good for $10, but Terk makes good antennas. And for $10, what do I have to lose? It it did not work, I just get my money back. I had tried 2 other antennas including an RCA and another Terk TV-5. This Terk TV-1 beat them all out! It looks like your standard rabbit ears, but for whatever reason, it works the best. Most of the stations I get come in very good. I get 27 channels, and stations that were terrible with the other antennas came in crystal clear. Occaisionally there was a problem, but friends of mine tell me it is police and fire radios that are causing the interference or loss of bits. But this is a great all around antenna, especially for the price!

Terk TV-1 Review #1
Rating: 5 (excellent) Nickname: anonymous Date: 2008-02-01
Summary: Skeptical when I saw it, but it works surprisingly well
My current antenna had trouble with 1 particular HD station so I wanted one that would fix that, but I didn't want an amplified antenna if I could help it. My HD stations are all UHF according to antennaweb, so I was skeptical about this because it only mentioned that UHF loop was included but not shown in the picture. The antenna and UHF loop were created for ancient TVs. (What TV made in the last 10 years has a 2 screw connection for antenna and UHF loop??) The included connector allows connection to coax, but the UHF loop requires the screw connection on the TV. I thought I was out of luck, but I tried it anyway. With the right orientation it got a great signal on that one station and even did better on the lone SD channel that I was using (UHF also). It's definitely worth the $10.

Terk TV-1 Review #2
Rating: 5 (excellent) Nickname: anonymous Date: 2008-02-06
Summary: Great indoor antenna
This antenna works very good for me, I live in an apartment in Far Rockaway, NY and I have a clear picture and voice in most available channels. I have a 20" tube TV. Very good reception for an indoor antenna.

Rating: 5 (excellent) Nickname: sbusgeeth Date: 2008-06-25
Summary: Excellent value for money
This antenna is very efficient. The reception is quite clear with rare snow on the screen. It also works very well with the converter box. It is also inexpensive. Good value for the money!

Terk TV-1 Review #4
Rating: 4 (good) Nickname: anonymous Date: 2008-02-10
Summary: Best unit I've seen
I got these just in time for the Super Bowl and the picture was clear enough to invite friends over. This despite the fact that our local FOX affiliate is on UHF and I didn't attach the UHF loop antenna (my TV has no connection for it).

Of our 6 local channels, this antenna picks up 4 very well without any adjustments, and the other 2 come in reasonably well after adjustment. Additionally the comments about the short connection wire are significant, it really limits positioning of the unit.

I should note that I got a second set for a friend who has trouble with local reception and they didn't help him much at all.
