Lately we have been dealing with an increasing number of attempts to manipulate antennas ranking. Note: each person is allowed to post one and only one review for each antenna model. | I bought this antenna at Walmart one year ago. It cost me $50. I liked the sleek shape and the ability to place it inside a window frame and evenly bend down the two ears of the antenna to fit evening inside the frame like an up-side-down letter "V". I live in Highlands Ranch, CO about 20 miles south of Lookout Mountain (where all the Denver TV channels are transmitted). Where Denver elevation is a 5280 feet (mile high city), my homes elevation is 6200 feet and we have a nice view of the entire metro area. I find that some of the spanish stations (which I do not care to view) are slightly digitalized (break ups) that when I just simply lay the antenna on the floor with the wall between the antenna and the outside, and the two legs fully extended, that the weak stations come in perfectly two. Well here is the cliff hanger line.... Yesterday the cable connector on my coax wire broke off from the antenna. And guess what folks... I still have perfect reception of all channels. Great antenna to be sure (or not so sure). I plan next to mount the antenna outside and connect it to a whole house distribution system. If that works well for me, with or without the antenna connected - :-) then I am sure the best thing I will find good about this antenna is that I will not be tempted to spend more money on an even pricier antenna. | Summary: One of the better ones I tried, and I tried many of them. |
| It works well in our area. I have it placed in the attic and it gives us a very good HD channel reception. The analog channels are not so good, but they are just about a history, anyways. I would recommend it to anyone within an area with HD signals. |

| Presently installed in my attic, picking up all stations broadcasting from the CN tower cystal clear!, plus a couple of Buffalo stations. Hope to mount outside on the roof and should improve reception even more. So far pretty pleased with the results. |

| I had the same experience as the other poor reviews.
Now I know why these are being dumped at flea markey for 20 bucks. I'm glad I didn't pay more.
I tried it without the amp and found the amp had very little effect. I tried it with the supplied amp and my distribution amp also still bad.
Don't waste your money. |

| I would recommend this to anyone. But you must have a signal available to receive. So before buying and being disappointed with any antenna, check your area for what's available. Then buy this one. |
