Lately we have been dealing with an increasing number of attempts to manipulate antennas ranking. Note: each person is allowed to post one and only one review for each antenna model. Exceptions can be made only under special circumstances when the reviewer feels that his earlier review must be corrected.
We have a sophisticated manipulation detection system in place and we will not tolerate any attempt to game the system and mislead consumers and our visitors. We reserve the right to delete any review that we feel is misleading or inappropriate and do that at our sole discretion. Thanks for understanding.
Also, from now on we require all reviews to be at least 100 words long. Short reviews, such as "a piece of junk" or "works as advertised" are not very helpful. Consider specifying more details. Elaborate on your location, the equipment you are using, reception quality of specific channels in your area. Check the word counter at the bottom when writing.

| Summary: Worth Every Penny!! |
| Bought one at Lowe\s after reading other peoples\ reviews here. My antenna is located just above the roof line, all TV towers are 56 miles away, and they are clear as can be. Excellent reception! I highly recommend this antenna for \fringe\ areas. |

| Summary: Great signal |
| My sister needed to convert to DTV, since she only had an analog TV. The problem is that she is 55 miles from the towers, and got maybe 4 channels on analog. I really didn\t think there was much hope.
I had the best converter I could get (Zenith), but needed a big antenna. She had an old one in the attic, but it was VHF only.
I found one of these at Lowe\s for $70, and 15 feet of pole. As soon as I put it up, I was getting all the digital stations clearly, without any amplifier. She went from 4 analog stations to over 15 digital. |

| Summary: Nice Antenna |
| I purchased this antenna on sale for $70 at Lowes. While it wasn\t top ranked on this web-site it received solid marks and the low price made it worth a try.
Antenna was a piece of cake to assemble. I mounted it in my attic. I used the recommended RCA RG-6 quad-shielded coaxial cable (100 foot lenght).
Hooked up the cable, started my TV\s (a Sony XBR) signal auto-find, and crossed my fingers. Picked up 37 digital channels with strong signals across the board. Couldn\t be happier.
I\m guessing the other highly ranked antennas on this web-site are also good but this units low price makes it an especially good buy.

| Summary: Terrific Antenna |
| This is an outstanding antenna, but, as another reviewer noted, it is large! We decided to place it in our attic due to strong winds at our location and it was a tight fit, but we made it! Putting it together was easy, although I would recommend putting the front and mid section together and then adding the large rear element last after you've found a position in the attic -- keep everything as collapsed as possible until mounted -- making sure that there is sufficient space once mounted. (NOTE: We did discover after returning one defective antenna, that there seems to be two "versions" of this product. The one we returned had dark brown cross snaps and end plugs, while the version we kept, had blue plastic caps and cross snaps, along with a bottom brace. The blue model was far superior to the one we returned...) If you don't live in an area that may be subject to off and on tropical storm or hurricane force winds, this would work even better outside, but this has outstanding reception as an attic-mount. I think you'll be happy with your purchase of this antenna, but go to AntennaWeb to make sure this will work in your area -- we were surprised that most of the stations in our location required a red-rated antenna. |

| Summary: Pulls in stations more than 50 miles away from attic location |
| Placed this in my attic, ran through cable wires to my TV. Receive great digital and HD signals from almost all stations up to and including violet zones. This antenna is very large though and just barely fit in my attic. |
