Philips PM-HDTV1 Review #0
Rating: 3 (average) Nickname: Azi Date: 2009-10-17
Summary:
I purchased this for my mom. The picture is very clear and nice when it receives signals, however it doesn\t receive all major networks such as NBC, and PBS public TV! Also it doesn\t receive all channels that it is capable of receiving at the same time. For instance if it is displaying ABC and you change the channel it won\t display KTLA(channel 5) until you move the antenna to a different position in order to watch KTLA. But the picture is clear when it does receive. I have read some of the reviews and it seems to me that this product may working better in one metropolitan area than other.

Philips PM-HDTV1 Review #1
Rating: 1 (very poor) Nickname: DFW Date: 2009-06-01
Summary: Worked 1 week
Replaced attic antenna (2 story).Worked 1 week with both HDTV TV and converter box. Signal on converter box dropped from meter of 96 to 30 and less. Relplaced amplifier (antenna unit comes with this) and no better. Put old antenna up and receive signals again. Poor quality.

Philips PM-HDTV1 Review #2
Rating: 5 (excellent) Nickname: Kathy Date: 2009-04-13
Summary: Low investment=High performance
I just received my HDTV1 last week from Amazon and am absolutely amazed by it! I was getting fair reception with a standard RCA rabbit ears antenna, but wanted to try something newer and "techy". Tried one of the RCA flat panel amplified antennas and it was worse than the rabbit ear antenna. Took that back and got one of the "wedge" shaped Philips outdoor amplified antennas and again, the reception was week. Wasn't even able to pull in Cinncinnati. Got the HDTV1 and hooked it up, pointed it south toward Cincinnati (about 45 miles away) and ended up getting 29 digital channels including the ones here in Dayton. The analog signals are fuzzy but that is not an issue for me. Bottom line: this is a great little antenna at a great price! Highly recommended!

Philips PM-HDTV1 Review #3
Rating: 3 (average) Nickname: Mountain&Plains Date: 2008-12-01
Summary: Fair - gets more stations - weak
I purchased this for a small TV in our kitchen, to use with the digital converter box. Better reception some of the time than with the single extension antenna on the TV. Some new stations come in, but only some of the time. Signal breaks up often.

Philips PM-HDTV1 Review #4
Rating: 2 (poor) Nickname: anonymous Date: 2008-05-29
Summary:
I bought the HGTV antenna hoping to be able to get my local channels, but it didn't work. I have satalite and can't get local channels because of a tree in the way on someone elses property. Maybe I was expecting too much.
