| 15 miles north of Jackson, Miss. and this antenna picks up every channel in the area very well. I just pointed it in the general direction of my local stations and got them all with no fine tuning. VHF stations both low and high showed 100% signal on my DTV receiver. Lower band UHF were 100% signal, UHF 36 and higher showed 80%+. Bear in mind that this was with no fine tuning or rotor. With a signal meter and adjustment I'm confident my numbers for the higher band UHF could be improved upon. For 44.00 + frt this is an excellent buy. I mounted it on my chimney and it sits about 25' up with straight line of sight. I only gave it four stars because of the packaging which is poor. Mine arrived with screws falling out of the box and some missing, a few bent pieces but nothing to bad. Some of that can be attributed to UPS I'm sure but overall, poor packaging was to blame. Ease of assembly was not to bad, took about 30 minutes. Over all performance is a 5+, packaging is a 3, assembly is a 4. You can buy it with confidence! | ||
