| Summary: Too Easy! |
| It's amazing how far antennas have come since my dad's day of the huge directional with a rotor. This little unit kicked butt right out of the gate. After a quick simple assembly, I headed for the roof and attached it to a 'J' model universal antenna bracket (not included). It's light as a feather, weighing only a couple pounds, so it's easy to manuever for mounting.
As to effectiveness, my first test was run after hooking up to 50' of coaxial cable and just putting the antenna on a deck chair on my patio. I 'roughly' pointed it in the direction of the predominant broadcast antennas. Next, I fired up my tv's digital channel scan (note here, if you have a Sony Bravia make sure you change the CABLE ON setting to CABLE OFF before running the scan or you won't find any channels), and the first pass pulled in 19 channels from 15 to 30+ miles away! Per antennaweb.org I'm getting red and blue zone signals which I sure didn't expect at all.
Our home is a single story ranch with a fair number of large oak trees around the house. This antenna is getting the job done despite this. Highly recommended. I ordered mine from solidsignal.com and was very happy with their customer service.
This antenna is rated as a Medium Range non-directional UHF only antenna. |

| Summary: Great antenna. Even Stronger Signal from Roof. Omnidirectional. |
| Have used this indoors for 3 years. Hanging near corner windows. Rotate towards station improved signal. TV meter showed 40-70. Just mounted on roof yesterday. Signal is now 70-90 without having to rotate. Highly recommend. Would probably buy the DB-8 model just to see if I would get 90+ on all stations. Incorrectly listed as directional. This antenna is omnidirectional. I would recommend facing towards the weakest or farthest signal though. |

| Summary: 40 mile reception through attic shrouded in trees. |
| Perfect reception for all local stations as well as the channel 41 tower which is listed as 39.7 miles away. Antenna is mounted inside attic in heavily wooded area, aimed toward the distant station. |

| Summary: Attic install works great |
| I got no reliable signal in town with my new HDTV. Towers are 25-30 miles away, and I live near a earthen railroad berm.
Put this antenna in my attic and have never had HD dropouts in 2 years of operation.
Highly recommend. |
