Lately we have been dealing with an increasing number of attempts to manipulate antennas ranking. Note: each person is allowed to post one and only one review for each antenna model. Exceptions can be made only under special circumstances when the reviewer feels that his earlier review must be corrected.
We have a sophisticated manipulation detection system in place and we will not tolerate any attempt to game the system and mislead consumers and our visitors. We reserve the right to delete any review that we feel is misleading or inappropriate and do that at our sole discretion. Thanks for understanding.
Also, from now on we require all reviews to be at least 100 words long. Short reviews, such as "a piece of junk" or "works as advertised" are not very helpful. Consider specifying more details. Elaborate on your location, the equipment you are using, reception quality of specific channels in your area. Check the word counter at the bottom when writing.

| We bought the DB2 after reading all the reviews. It was money well spent. Before with our indoor rabbit ears we couldn\t get any digital channels and only one analog channel clearly. We first tried the DB2 in the attic, but the reception was still poor. Then tried it outside in a few locations. Ended up mounting it on the end of the house near the apex of the roof (bought the J-mount) for this. Big difference. We now get all 5 of the local channels in our area crystal clear. PBS is analog only and comes in just a bit fuzzy, but the transmitter is around 200 miles away! | ||

| Mounted the antenna where my satelite dish used to be. Pointed the antenna in the direction of most of the transmitters using a compass and now receive 21 Digital TV Stations, all in HDTV. Well worth the money and easy to mount on the existing pole. It was easy to assemble. It did not seem to be very sturdy but its held up for over a year without any problems. Hint: Use a compass to point your antenna. When on my roof I was convinced the compass was wrong. When I finally accepted the compass reading, I was able to bring in all available channels. | ||

| Summary: 30 miles from Pittsburgh, excellent | ||
| I originally had RCA\s indoor antenna, just to try it out while on cable. It received OK reception but now with the DB2 I get 75-100% all the time. I can get 90-100% on but I\d have to give up 2 channels at 50% I wanted so I\m satisfied with all the channels at around 80% or more. This is with it currently sitting next to the TV, haven\t even put it in the attic or tried it outside yet! To be fair I received it used off Ebay, so some users might not be as satisfied, but it worked awesome for us. | ||

| Summary: Use as Indoor, work great! 40 miles range | ||
| Before I used non-amplified indoor antenna and then change to amplified indoor antenna, I got 2-4 watchable channel. Then, when I got this DB2 I expect much more channels, and after I installed this DB2, attached to my 42\ TV unit(Hang on the back), it seem not work (Get no channel at all). Then I found out that this DB2 need some space in the front, so I decided to place DB2 on the shelf beside my TV(nothing obstruct the front of it). And it\s work so great, I got 48 channels now. FYI: I live in Townhome and my TV is in the first floor, and the DB2 face to my wall and outside has many obstruction(Other homes). 35-40 miles distance from station(Chicago.) The tricks to make this DB2 work well are 1. Give some room in the front of the DB2(more space more signal) 2. You need to face the front of DB2 to where the station are 3. A little hight will help, for mine. I could not imagine how great it would be if install this antenna as Outdoor.(But my association doesn\t allow, so wt_) | ||

| Summary: Better than rabbit ears, but barely. | ||
| I did all the research and purchased 3 different antennas from this company for 3 separate units. I own the DB2, the DB4 and the DB8 bow tie antennas. While I get reception, most channels are very intermittent on all the antennas. You would think that the DB8 would provide the best signal, but not necessarily, location is far more important. None of the units are amplified, but based on the cost I think these are far too expensive to provide such spotty and intermittent reception. Why shold one have to add hundreds of dollars more to amplify a signal? The DTV revolution has stumbled badly and left many users without reliable television reception still at the mercy of for profit providers. Unreliable HDTV reception. Still need satellite or cable. Too expensive for spotty service. Very dissatisfied. | ||
