Lately we have been dealing with an increasing number of attempts to manipulate antennas ranking. Note: each person is allowed to post one and only one review for each antenna model. Exceptions can be made only under special circumstances when the reviewer feels that his earlier review must be corrected.

We have a sophisticated manipulation detection system in place and we will not tolerate any attempt to game the system and mislead consumers and our visitors. We reserve the right to delete any review that we feel is misleading or inappropriate and do that at our sole discretion. Thanks for understanding.

Also, from now on we require all reviews to be at least 100 words long. Short reviews, such as "a piece of junk" or "works as advertised" are not very helpful. Consider specifying more details. Elaborate on your location, the equipment you are using, reception quality of specific channels in your area. Check the word counter at the bottom when writing.

Rating: 5 (excellent) Nickname: anonymous Date: 2010-02-15
Summary: Works Here
I bought this antenna at Costco, and installed it on the roof. I live in Emeryville, and pointed the antenna West-Southwest (towards Sutro Tower in SF). It picks up several dozen Bay Area DTV stations, including those in SF, Oakland,San Jose, etc. The picture and audio quality is excellent, actually better than what I was getting through satellite (DirectTV), and this is FREE. I have broadband internet and a $9.95/mo Netflix subscription, which allows me to watch hundreds of movies on line (plus watch DVDs ordered through the mail...), so it\s goodbye to DirectTV.. YMMV with this antenna, but it seems to be well-constructed and well-tuned. The most important variable is your location (geography and location of broadcast towers). This antenna works EXTREMELY WELL here in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Summary: Good UHF but VHF not so well
I can pickup good UHF but not VHF. I am disappointed in their description on the box listing full DTV spectrum however on their website they list Best for UHF. If they had listed that on their box I would be fine with my purchase because I could be informed consumer. Have mounted outside on Roof and Directed towards the VHF stations and still get nothing. All my stations are in one major direction. The Antenna has very good appeal because of it\s size and shape. That why I had purchased. Good thing Best Buy will allow for return as I need both VHF and UHF in my area.

Rating: 4 (good) Nickname: CapnBry Date: 2009-01-27
Summary: Great UHF no VHF
The product description boasts "Consistent gain through the entire DTV channel spectrum" but neglects the entire VHF-HI range. I live 25 miles NW from the transmitters across flat land and I get 11 major station (I don't count multiple stations on the same frequency twice) with no bit errors reported, but they are all in UHF. Unfortunately two networks (NBC and FOX) here are VHF-HI and I can barely get the signal meter to bump off of 0% with this antenna despite being the same distance to transmitter. I added a single dipole antenna (a "rabbit-ear") tuned to ~200MHz indoors via a signal combiner and get adequate reception. For reference the dipole got spotty signals on some of the UHF channels so the C2 holds a clear advantage in that spectrum.

Rating: 5 (excellent) Nickname: USA Date: 2009-01-14
Summary: Small antenna with a strong performance on digital broadcasts
I live in a hilly state where OTA signals are not easy to receive. This antenna was easy to hook up and I have it on an 8 foot mast on my deck. I get 9 channels. Three are about 8 miles, three are 32 miles and the last three are 62 miles.

AntennasDirect C2 Review #4
Rating: 5 (excellent) Nickname: trentdk Date: 2008-12-06
Summary: Works Great
I'm not in a bad position or anything, and I'm only (at average) 20 miles away from all the signals, but where an indoor antenna could barely pull in 1 frame per 10 seconds, this antenna (on my roof) gets me -everything- perfectly. My TV has a built in tunner and can display DTV signal quality, and I get 85 to 97% on all channels (720p and 1080i). I'm even running like 100 feet of coaxial to get the antenna to the TV, hehe. Previous owner of my house had a satellite dish hooked up on the roof. I just took off the dish part, and clamped this antenna on the stand :). So really easy install. I used tvfool.com to figure out which direction was best to point it (E,NE for me). As a test, I pointed it towards the ocean, and I could still get everything, but only at 30-50% quality. Take home message: If you tried a $50ish indoor antenna and it sucked -- try this. All the network channels look better than my friends cable HD. Can't wait for football tomorrow!
