Lately we have been dealing with an increasing number of attempts to manipulate antennas ranking. Note: each person is allowed to post one and only one review for each antenna model. Exceptions can be made only under special circumstances when the reviewer feels that his earlier review must be corrected.

We have a sophisticated manipulation detection system in place and we will not tolerate any attempt to game the system and mislead consumers and our visitors. We reserve the right to delete any review that we feel is misleading or inappropriate and do that at our sole discretion. Thanks for understanding.

Also, from now on we require all reviews to be at least 100 words long. Short reviews, such as "a piece of junk" or "works as advertised" are not very helpful. Consider specifying more details. Elaborate on your location, the equipment you are using, reception quality of specific channels in your area. Check the word counter at the bottom when writing.

Rating: 5 (excellent) Nickname: Sandy Date: 2010-01-22
Summary:
I had one of those flat antennas with a built in amplifier for my Samsung HD TV. Some channels were fine, some channels were poor, often breaking up, and there was one channel that I could not get at all. I replaced it with the AntennasDirect C1C. I put it in my attic with about 25 feet of coax cable running down to my TV. All channels come in beautifully now. The Samsung TV has a built in signal power meter. With the C1C I am getting maximum bars on all locally available channels. I would recommend it to anyone.

Summary: Great indoor reception, better than expected
Antenna web told me I needed some high powered antennas to get all the major channels in the area, but this little model got them all and from indoors to boot. I hooked up the antenna to my new Panasonic TC P42S1 with the wire included with the antenna and pointed it out a window in the direction of all the major stations. I tried moving the antenna to a point so that the signal had to go through a wall and the receptivity decreased dramatically, from about 25 to 5 channels. I\m not sure whether I\m going to mount it outside or keep it indoors, but at least it doesn\t look nasty inside.

Summary: Better than expected results
We live 45 miles northeast of Atlanta and the box the CIC ($79) came in said the range was 25 miles for indoors and 30 miles for outdoors. We use it for the indoor mode but it can also be mounted on an indoor wall or used outdoors with another antenna part in came with. We receive 9 channels but 2 of them cut out or don\t work all the time. We bought a Terk HDTV flat antenna ($49) the day before and tried it out and only got 5 channels with 2 of them with weaker signals. If you want to skip paying cable or satellite bils and don\t feel the need to have a 100 channels, then look into getting an antenna like this one.

AntennasDirect C1C Review #3
Rating: 5 (excellent) Nickname: anonymous Date: 2010-10-27
Summary: AWESOME Antenna
I live in an apartment building right in Washington DC (with other apartment buildings surrounding mine) and had a pair of rabbit ears from Best Buy. I only got NBC, ABC and CBS reliably, and even then I had to move the antenna around and got interference when there was movement nearby. I couldn't even get Fox.

Now, I get all of those stations crystal clear with no interference, plus a handful of others I didn't even know were out there. And, no more having to move the antenna around. Once I found the right angle and reprogrammed the TV, I haven't had to touch the antenna. And I actually just have it sitting on the floor under the TV (which is wall mounted) using the included stand (which holds the antenna just fine, by the way. Not sure what the other reviewer's problem was with the set top stand). So I don't even have it up high and it works great.

I would HIGHLY recommend this antenna to anyone who has been disappointed with the performance of other antennas. I'm not sure why this antenna doesn't come up on Amazon when you search for antennas. I actually found it on another review site and just checked to see if Amazon carried it and was surprised to find they did.

AntennasDirect C1C Review #4
Rating: 4 (good) Nickname: anonymous Date: 2010-10-14
Summary: As good as any I've found
I live in the middle of a rust-belt city, so no indoor antenna will deliver perfect results. This one delivers good results. It was not too expensive, and it gave me the one extra channel I needed to watch local NFL games, so I recommend it, especially to people who aren't surrounded by buildings.
