TV Antenna GeoSelector takes the following factors into account: station power, distance, azimuth, antenna gain, frequency bands, antenna half-power beamwidth. There are many other factors that can NOT be taken into account. Most notably, while the tool is still in BETA, the terrain is not taken into consideration. The suggestion is calculated based on the assumption that you have Line-of-Sight (LOS) to all stations in your area, which is almost never the case.
