Zenith or Channel Master

Postby cylinder on Sat Jul 12, 2008 4:25 pm

which converter box performs better, Zenith DTT900 or Channel Master CM-7000
ive seen very good reviews and recommendation for the zenith box, but the stereo sound is weak.
i havent heard anything about the CM7000, except one review stating it better than zenith. dunno which one is better, has anybody tested them or know?

btw, looking through some boxes, i found an indoor Recton antenna, hooked it up to my tv, rescanned, and now i receive 4 more channels, and the current ones are less snowy and ghosts eliminated on some channels. its VHF rods are longer, and has an adjustable UHF ring loop which my older antenna did not have. its not even amplified. lucky break.

ChannelMaster seems to hype CM7000 as the one having Smart Antenna interface. Pretty much useless thing this SA interface, isn't it :-)
