Are you talking about the ANALOG version of these stations, or the DIGITAL version? Personally, the SS-1000 is as useless as nipples on a bull. You are only about 7-8 miles from all the transmitters on South Mountain, and you ought to be able to moisten a finger and pick up everything. How many tuners are you using from that SS-1000? Digital or analog? I suggest dumping the SS-1000 and getting a real antenna like a Winegard HD-7694P, aim it at South Mountain, and stand back!
PS, if you havern't gotten into digital yet, you are going to be very sorry in three weeks when all you'll see is snow!
