Winegard HD-7696P High Definition VHF/UHF HD7696

Hi guys, My name is Julio from Farmington Hills, Mi

I've been thinking for a long time to get a bigger TV 42" or 46" LED or LCD but we don not use cable nor dish and the air reception from indoors antennas y very bad most of the times no matter which antenna we use. We are to decide to buy an exterior antenna and the geoselector in our area suggests the antenna I state in the subject. I have many questions. You can give me all the advice freely since I am not knowledgeable in this matter... One question is, how to rotate the antenna once it is installed on the roof? Can I hook up 2 or three TVs to the same antenna? How?

Thanks you so much!

Julio, if you haven't checked this out already, go to: http://www.tvfool.com/index.php?option= ... &Itemid=29 and input your address for a accurate list of stations available in you area. I did a quick search of Farminton Hills MI. and there are numerous stations in Line of Sight within 60 miles, most are within 25 miles. However there are two directions to point your antenna so two things to consider are using an antenna rotator and selecting a DTV that allows you to scan for channels from more than one location, the feature is sometimes call add digital channels or scan for additional channels. A different option is the use of an outdoor omnidirectional antenna with preamplifier to simplify installation and be easier to use with multiple tvs. A 4 port distribution amplifer is also a good idea if you are wiring a large house for multiple rooms and there would be over 100 ft of coax beyond the antenna. Hope that helps...

Another option I forgot to mention is using two directional antenna on one mast to feed your distribution amp or TVs directly. Read my answers to "lost in Phoenix" on this forum for more information. Good Luck!
