It is probably because they have differrent prices when it comes to service providers. But also, you might think that there are few times when your Sony might not work properly. And another issue where Sony takes a plus is the design, which yes, I think that Sony has a better look.

Not sure if you knew....
But LG (Life's Good) bought Zenith and changed the name.
SO, it's not like they are a new guy on the block.
Zenith, for a LOT of years had very reliable equipment
and from what i see of LG, there following suit !

Have a good Day ! :)

I have been hearing some good things about LG too. It seems like Sony and Samsung are the two "big dogs" on the block, but LG seems to be coming up behind them. I have also been hearing about them coming out with some pretty cool products, like super thin HDTVs. Sharp was once a big name and they seemed to have faltered a little, but I have been hearing good things about them. Personally, I have a Sony and I am very happy with it.

I have a Panasonic HDTV. I'm not sure what model it is, but I love it.

:)) that was a good one. A TV manufacturer that makes refrigerators, or better said a refrigerators manufacturer that makes tv too. I believe you're right, S.W., because you can't be any better only if you are a pro in your domain.

I toatally agree with you guys. LG does have some solid products on the market. Even though their big niche is in refridgerators, I like companies that dablle in a little of everything. The also make Blu-Ray players. Unfortunately though, I have not read anything good about their Blu-Ray player attempts yet.

I have a Olevia, LT42HVi, which I got from...

Besides a reasonable price, it has both NTSC and ATSC Tuners in it. That being very handy thru Feb 09, and probably beyond.

Another good place which has very nice stuff is..
http://www.crutchfield.com/
I've ordered a LOT of my stuff from them, and am expecting a new DVD Recorder from them any time now.

I'm sure that all of you have your favorite places to get stuff, but, I just thought I'd share these two with you,
given that i've had such good luck with both of these.

Have a good Day ! :)

Hey guys, look at this lil' one. Just bought it for my new flat. And it's got such a astonishing 7.1 home cinema system that I can't wish anything else.
