I think that you did well: SS is a good outfit, but talk to them and find out when they plan to ship the remaining equipment...

If you want to do it on the cheap you can use the Winegard 7697 and aim it at about 285 degrees and you should be able to pickup:
7-CBS
36-NBC
45-CW
21-FOX
25-PBS
13-ABC
19-W19CR (whatever this is)
16-IND (maybe)
and possibly a handful more, but I wouldn't count on more, just be surprised if you get more. I don't know how many you were looking for, but you said you wanted inexpensive. I recommended this antenna a few times before, and I don't want to sound like this is my standard recommendation, but it works in quite a few applications. You didn't mention what amp you had, but even if it is not a great one, it may still work for you. If you wanted to try it first with what you have, I say give it a shot, your stations look pretty strong. If you want a pre-amp, the Winegard AP-8700 is really good, I have used thousands of them. If you really want cheap, we have an antenna called the Signal Grabber, that is really small (about 36" long), and believe it or not, it really works quite well for less than $60. I would still be more comfortable with the 7697. If you need more help, let me know.

Hello, I live in 30047 - Atlanta suburbs. I need to install the antenna inside my attic which is on a 2 story home. There is so many choices, I would really appreciate your thoughts on what may work best.

Thanks, Rich

Use a Winegard HD-7694P aimed at 245 degrees, it will pull everything that you are looking for.

Tiger, Thanks for the reply...due to putting it in the attic, I was also looking at the Winegard 7696 for added boost or would this be overkill for my location? I am also interested in receiving PAX in Rome, Ga. about 45 miles away....would I need a rotor as the heading is 320 degrees? If so...what do you recommend (rotor) that would be easy to install.

thanks, Rich
