Two roof antennas

I currently have both a VHF and a UHF antenna connected to my old analog TV. When it comes time to connect my TV Converter Box which antenna shall I use?

If you have all UHF stations in your area, you can use the UHF antenna, but if you have both, you will need a combiner to put them into the antenna input of your converter box
