two locations need antenna advice

Postby meierjo on Thu Sep 03, 2009 11:37 am

Hi All -

In the process of setting up two locations for OTA - need some antenna advice.

First location is at zip code 55438:
Many trees around the house which is a split level
will be using a Channel Master CM7000 converter on one old tv and an HDHomeRun Networked Digital TV Tuner (which has 2 inputs/tuners in it) for the other tv which is a Polaroid EDTV w/o a tuner. Was hoping to us the old Directv Mast to mount an antenna and service the 3 inputs/tuners.

The other location might be a bit more tricky - it's at 56465 and will be using a Dish Network TR-40CRA converter to one TV. I think this location has channels coming in from different directions.

We're ditching the Direct TV in both locations, but intend to us the mast for mounting an outdoor antenna setup.

Thanks!

Use a Winegard HD-7694P for the Minneapolis house, and use a Channel Master CM-3414 distribution amplifier to feed the signals to your various tuners.

You can use the same model antenna at your other house, but you will need a rotator to turn the antenna. I recommend a Channel master 9521a rotator for that purpose...
