The Atlanta TV stations are only about 20 miles from your house, but are somewhat obscured by hills between you and the transmitters. I would strongly suggest installing a roof-mounted antenna, rather than an attic mounted antenna to insure that you see all of your TV stations clearly. If this was my installation, I would use a Winegard HD-7696P VHF-high-band plus UF antenna on the roof aimed at 150 degrees as measured by your compass.
