I live in a rural area of Western NC.....zip code 28906.....surrounded by mountians of TN, NC and GA...can u suggest a antenna for me to pick up any television...we get nothing now :cry:

It can be done, but you are going to need a deep-fringe antenna system to get reliable TV signals, as most of your TV is 60 miles from your location.

it looks like the Chattanooga stations will be your best bet, but expect to use a BIG antenna to get what you are looking for. I would suggest using a Winegard HD-7698P mounted on your roof, along with a high input preamplifier like a Winegard HDP-269. The Chattanooga stations lie at a compass heading of roughly 285 to 290 degrees from your location , but you may want to consider using a rotator on your antenna, as sometimes people find that signals can be reflected in a mountainous area, and can be received better from the reflected signals than the direct signals. Remember that altitude is your friend, and the higher you are up over the roof, the greater your chances for success. I expect that you should have success with the major Chattanooga stations if you use such an antenna system.
