I have a feeling that WRAY-DT may be causing you problems because it is so close to house. You might by-pass the preamplifier to see if he problem goes away. Unplugging the preamplifier power supply is NOT an answer: you would have to remove the preamp from the signal chain, If we find that overload is an issue, then the next step is to buy a channel 42 specific trap to lower the signal enough to remove the overload. If that's the case, I can suggest a couple of vendors who can make the trap at a fair price for you.
