Have you had your tuner scan for stations since you installed the antenna?

I have a feeling that WRAY-DT may be causing you problems because it is so close to house. You might by-pass the preamplifier to see if he problem goes away. Unplugging the preamplifier power supply is NOT an answer: you would have to remove the preamp from the signal chain, If we find that overload is an issue, then the next step is to buy a channel 42 specific trap to lower the signal enough to remove the overload. If that's the case, I can suggest a couple of vendors who can make the trap at a fair price for you.

as soon as the rain stops I will by-pass the pre-amp.
then I'll post results.

finally had time to remove the pre-amp from the setup.
only got 3 channels in the same position.17, 47, 50. 17 was flawless the other 2 not so good.
any ideas?

added pre-amp back 9 channels come in . two unc stations static. 5 and 11 have the lines. and the rest are flawless.

From the way that you are describing things, you are seeing analog stations: digital stations would NOT have these issues....
