rural receiption

Hi,
I live in Moscow, Kansas 67952. We live about 20 miles from the nearest town. There are a couple of radio towers, one south 5 miles, and another east 5 miles. We are wondering what type of antenna to get. Our coordinates are N36 56.881 W101 04.632. We dont have cable and arent planning on it. Thanks for your helprobertsredangus

All of your digital stations are 35-55 miles from you, and spread out over about a 50 degree arc. ABC,NBC, CBS and PBS are available. All of the digital stations will be on VHF, with KBSD-DT on Channel 6, so you will need an all-channel antenna. I suggest using a Winegard HD-7082P fringe antenna along with a Winegard HDP-269 preamplifier. You will also need a rotator to fine-tune the antenna for your best reception. I suggest using a Channel Master 9512a automatic rotator for your purposes. Mount the antenna up as high on your roof as is practical, and you should get great digital reception on all of your available channels.
