I am trying to figure out what, if any, antenna I can get for my folks. They live in 38967. They have a lot of trees. As a matter in fact, they like live at the bottom of a hill. Is there anything I can do for HDTV?
Thanks for the information: the Tupelo-Columbus-West Point stations all lie about 43 miles from the house, at a compass heading of roughly 65 degrees: these stations are available when you use a fringe-area VHF-high-band plus UHF antenna like a Winegard HD-7696P or an AntennaCraft HBU-44 mounted on the roof and aimed at those transmitters. If you are going to use more than 2 TV sets, or if the cable length exceeds 80' or more between the antenna and the TV set, consider a preamplifier like a Winegard HDP-269, which will give you enough signal to power up to 4 total TV sets when used with a low-loss coaxial splitter.
