My directional antenna stopped working and I would like to check the rotor controller. Could someone tell me what the 1-2-3 connections go to and the voltage output are?
Honestly, there are many combinations, and there is no standard configuration for wiring a rotator. When I do it, I always use the wide insulator, rd wire, or aluminum wire as number one, but your mileage may vary.
Unfornutly I undid the wires from the controller without marking them to test the controller for voltages. I would just check the rotor on the roof and redoit but its in minneapolis its cold and snowy and no way am I climbing on the roof till spring. I had assumed the the controller put out a 0-? Dc voltages (+-) but not sure. Can you help?
