Oh no!!! But I wanted to use white because it matches my house! I would think white would be better and not absorb the heat. It must be a different kind of plastic. I hate the looks of the black stuff - LOL!

But thanks for letting me know that. I'll just paint the black cable.

Good quality black coax cable takes paint very well, and will last FAR longer than using white cable that is exposed to the elements.

SUCCESS!!!

All local channels in both my rooms come in great and I was able to get rid of my amplifier! I just used all my old cables and it really works great. It isn't nearly as touchy with regard to aiming as the Terk was. Great price and it only took me one hour and that included me going up and down the ladder to rescan my TVs.

The instructions were terrible though and made it much more complicated than it is. The illustrations were awful and confusing. Once I started, it was fairly self-evident how to set it up.

Thanks Everyone!!!! Now I don't have stand a ladder with my pool brush to adjust/aim the antenna! :o

One of these days I need to check that it's all grounded properly (again, poor instructions).

I'm glad to hear that it worked for you: I didn't think that you'd need an amplifier for only 2 TV sets: If you ane to add more TV sets, you might want to re-think the amp.
