Poor reception on second TV.

I recently switched from cable to satellite and have installed an off air antenna for local channels. These towers are 70 miles away and on my plasma tv I get every channel available with excellent reception. My other tv is a Sanyo model #CLT2054 with a tuner. My problem is I only get NBC on this tv, is this a result of this model of tv? Any help would be appreciated.

I don't believe that the issue is the TV set: I believe that you may have a distribution problem. Where are you? What kind of antenna are you using/ Are you using a preamplifier? I need to know the answers to these questions to make any valid diagnosis.

My zip code is 81401. I am using an Antennacraft C490 with a 30" run to the plasma tv and a 25" run to the Sanyo tv. I put a quad distribution amplifier from the first run. connected this to the satellite box and plasma tv antenna input. My second run comes out of this amplifier to the Sanyo tv. Originally when I used this configuration I had the NBC channel but it had poor reception. I put a another distribution amplifier at the end of the second run to the Sanyo tv and it gave me excellent reception for NBC channel. Also, when I first set this up with no amplifier the plasma tv only received two local channels that is why I went with the distribution amp. I am not using a pre-amplifier. When I researched your TV set, apparently, this Sanyo TV does not have a digital tuner built into it. Are you using an external digital converter box with this TV set? Which one are you using? It sounds as if you are getting only a local low-power analog NBC translator using that TV set. I am also concerned that you have used too much amplification bu cascading 2 amplifiers attempting to get signals that your Sanyo is not designed to get.
