Please help with antenna choice

Hi,

I just purchased a 40" HDTV. I live in the zipcode 10463 in an apartment building with many floors. There are other tall buildings around. I would like to pick up both VHF and UHF channels. I would appreciate any suggetions

The ESB is only 10 miles from you, but your success with any antenna will depend on which direction you are facing. If we assume that the apartment building does not have a working master antenna, then you are probably stuck with an indoor antenna, and there is no way to predict how well you'll do in that situation. If you face the ESB, chances are good that you'll get the major staions with an indoor antenna; if you don't, it's all a crapshoot. As for which antenna to use: I have some experience with he Terk HDTVa, which seems to be one of the better indoor antennas, but the BEST indoor antenna still can't promise good reception for you if your location in the building is wrong.
