Please critique this setup

I appreciate any help the pros on here can give me.

I just bought a new house and I want to set every room up with high quality off the air channels through the existing RG6 cabling. All the channels I care about are in the yellow zone at about 17 miles from my house at 22 degrees and with no obstructions. Here is my plan after countless hours of research:

Wineguard SS-2000 pre-amplified antenna

Amplified internally with 16 dB Video Engine by On Q - Product link - http://cgi.ebay.com/On-Q-Video-Engine-M ... m153.l1262

Split throughout the house with an On Q passive 1x10 splitter

I just need to know if the On Q Video Engine will be overkill and if anyone here has used this product. Also, I want to make sure that with the pre-amp in the wineguard antenna and the Video Engine it won't over power the signal.

Thanks for your help.

Replace the SS2000 with a Winegard non-preamplified HD-7082P and you have yourself a decent deal: I wouldn't use ANY preamplified antenna that close to the transmitters, and the SS2000 has poor VHF reception
