My own preamp on a Terk HDTVo (amplifed antenna) possible?

Hi.

I already have a dish antenna from RadioShack that picks up channels poorly. I want to add a preamp, maybe the Channel Master CM-7778. If I'm not satisfied with the results, I plan to switch the antenna out for a Terk HDTVo, which has received some pretty good reviews. Would I still be able to use the preamp CM-7778 on a Terk HDTVo which is already amplified? Would it be advisable?

If not the preamp CM-7778, does anyone have any other suggestions to a good preamp?

Please read "Tips for getting good antenna advice" at the beginning of the forum and repost your question. As it stands, you are going down the wrong road with your thinking. but we need more information to make any recommendations
