Not sure how to choose an antenna

Would appreciate any help you can provide. I live in Franklin, Tennessee. I have been using an inside antenna, and as others have said, am tired of moving it around and losing reception mid-programming. I'm ready for an outside antenna (actually, would prefer to put it in the attic), but am overwhelmed by the choices! It looks like my area is yellow and red, for the most part. From what I've read, CBS will not be able to be viewed, yet I am able to get this station on my indoor antenna (okay - when it decides to come in). Suggestions???
