Need some advice

well I'm trying to get some dtv channels on my sony KDF-42WE655 and am looking for some advice on what antenna I should purchase. The thing is that on AntennaWeb sometimes it says I can get my local dtv channels and sometimes it says I can't get any. I recently purchased a U-75R uhf antenna from radioshack and it worked just as well as the rabbit ears I had on the tv beforehand, and I couldn't pick up any digital channels with it about 25' in the air. My zip code is 98253, any advice would be helpful.

When I ran a scan on your zip code, things didn't look promising, but if you'll PM your address to me, I can get a more accurate idea of what's necessary. My initial reaction i that you may have mis-aimed your U-75, but I also suspect that signals are weak enough in your location that you may need a preamplifier. Also, you should know that several Seattle stations will switch their digital signals back to VHF after February 16, 2009, so you will also need a VHF antenna to get everything that you are looking for.
