Need help for zipcode 16655

Postby chum1976 on Thu Jul 22, 2010 9:38 pm

Hi, I hope someone can give me some information. I have installed a channel master 4228 antenna with a channel master pre-amp, and can only receive one channel WTAJ 10.1

Below is my tvfool page. I cancelled my dish network and the local cable company wants $21.95 for the limited service. If I can get a few more channels that would be great. Thanks!!

Hmm, if you aim it right, the 4228 should get you 3 networks plus PBS: you would need a separate VHF 10 element yagi to see FOX, as it's on VHF and in another direction. I suggest walking the antenna around around on the roof to find the best location for it: you didn't mention if oyu mounted the 4228 in the attic, but that's a no-no in your situation

Thanks for the info. I messed around with it all day and still only one channel. For just one second I got a glimpse of another channel, but could not pull it in. I am returning my equipment back to amazon except for my old 4228. Its basic cable for me I guess $19.95 monthly.
