Need an antenna

Postby couchpotato on Fri Jan 01, 2010 5:31 pm

I guess I do need a new antenna. 97301, 50 miles from Portland.
older Sanyo TV set. not much obstruction to the signal I can see. Any suggestions?
Our Dtv converter with current antenna is giving us 60 to 70% signal at best. Of course one short piece of the antenna is missing.

You have a mix of VHF and UHF digital stations in your area, and all of the Portland stations lie almost due north. I would use a Winegard HD-7696P mounted n your roof: use a preamplifier like a Wiinegard HDP-269 high-input preamp if you plan to use more than 2 TV sets.
