Looking for a good Antenna

Postby safetymom on Mon Aug 08, 2011 4:10 pm

I live in Russell, MA and am looking for a good antenna to place on my roof. I went through the Geo Selector and it metioned that I should ask a professional. Any suggestions before attempting to make a purchase. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks you.

Picked up a Radio Shack antenna for around $35. We can pick up around 30 - 38 channels depending where the location in the room is. One thing I noticed is that we do not get WGGB 40 which is 12 miles away and channel 57 which is a PBS station around the same distance. Can anyone explain why we can reach further channels with great reception but not able to reach locally?
