I recently did this same antenna system for a fellow in Westbrook, and I believe that it will work well for you, too.
Use a Channel Master 4221 HD along with an AntennaCraft Y5-7-13 VHF high-band yagi. Join them together using a Pico-Macom UVSJ antenna joiner. Mount the 4221HD UHF antenna on the top of the mast aimed at 340 degrees by a compass, and mount the Y-5-7-13 lower on the same mast. Aim the Y-5-7-13 at channel 8, which is at 353 degrees by your compass. Join the cables from the 2 antennas using a Pico-Macom UVSJ antenna joiner, then run the output of the joiner into a Winegard HDP-269 preamplifier, and then run the coaxial cable into the house, where you will then add the preamp power supply, and a 2-way splitter that will send the signal to both TV sets.
