Long Distance DTV antenna

Postby skip0157 on Mon Mar 02, 2009 5:06 pm

I live in MA. near the RI line. Zip is 02703. I previously was able to receive WMUR-TV from Manchester, NH with an outside antenna. I removed this antenna years ago. What, if any, antenna would you suggest to receive WMUR-DT after the June transition when WMUR-DT returns to channel 9? I currently have a rotor with a UHF antenna and I'm able to receive all of the Boston and Providence stations.

WMUR-DT will return to channel 9 after June 12, so consider adding a Winegard YA-1713 VHF yagi to your UHF antenna, You'll lso need it for WNAC-Dt and WPRI-DT in Providence, which are also VHF high-band stations. WHDH-DT, NBC, Boston will also return to channel 7 at that time. Use a Pico-Macom UVSJ UHF-VHF joiner to combine the two antennas into one coaxial cable on the roof.
