Lewisburg wV

I am moving to Lewisburg WV. I saw a post that an antenna wasn't recommended for viewing as the terrain interferes with reception - cable or dish is recommended. Is this true for Lewisburg as well? I have an HD ready TV any suggestions for an antenna for this area if reception is good?
