Just how do reflectors work for an antenna like the Winegard HD-4400 2 bay (smaller driven element boom in front of larger reflector boom)? This type of UHF antenna has an interesting look to me. And assuming the reflector boom is not for show...
Does the relative vertical positioning of the horizontal elements of each of the 2 antenna booms matter?
Or maybe the (about 4" element spacing) reflector acts like a single "reflective" surface to UHF wavelengths, and so as long as it's anywhere behind the driven element boom, it's OK?
