Houghton (Kirkland) washington area

Postby jgoeke on Fri Jan 08, 2010 4:36 pm

Anyone have experience with antenna's in the Houghton area of Kirkland WA (98033 )? I currently have Comcast cable and would love to switch to an external antenna that connects to the 75ohm coax going into the house. Any help appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

You will see all of the Sea-Tac stations if you mount an Winegard HD-7694P on your roof, aimed atroughly 225 degrees by your compass.

Thanks for the reply. I decided to go with a antenna from Radio Shack, for this allowed me to try it out and return it if it didn't work as expected. I ended up with the antennacraft HDX1000.

A bit more expensive, but it is way more attractive than the standard wire nest antenna, comes with a signal amp and I simply put a stake in the ground next to the cable-in connection spot on the side of the house, pointed the antenna towards seatac, and I get 22 or so channels with strong signals! Goodbye Comcast, hello antenna!
