Help! What do I need to do to prepare for February?

I have been looking through the information on this site and elsewhere on the Internet, but I am still really confused. I keep seeing all of these warnings about some sort of change that will be taking place in February and I need to know of I will still be able to watch television when this switch happens. If not, what do I need to do? I can't afford to go out and buy a whole bunch of new stuff. I just bought a new tv last year! Am I going to have to buy another one!

Hi Bill!

Don't worry, you won't be the only person in this boat. A lot of people are still confused about the big "switchover" that will be taking place in February. Since your television is relatively new, the chances are pretty good that your television will be able to pick up the digital signal that will be broadcast in February. Also, if you have satellite service, you will be able to pick up the digital signal without a problem. Otherwise, you may have to purchase a converter that will allow you to pick up the digital signal. Hope that helps!

I'm answering to a slightly older post, but...
First thing you need to do, is, get the Operationg Manual of your TV, and locate the type of tuner(s) it has.
Secondly, it would be nice to know, what sort of Inupts it has.
Get back to us on this, and we'll go from there.
