Nice to have found this forum. I hope that with the member's help I will be able to combine my PC and my OTA reception to cancel DirecTV and indeed all pay TV service while still being able to watch my favorite shows.

Most of my TV watching is networks, but a few programs like Dr. Who on BBCA and the USA and FX shows would be missed if I went only OTA. So I hope to use a combination of torrents and other means (such as purchasing DVDs or downloads, Netflix, etc) to access them in high def.
