Hey S.W.

Welcome to the HDTV Labs Forum!
Houston is a nice place for OTA HDTV, isn't it? A plenty of "yellow" channels.

Cheers,

I'm glad we can get along.

hdtvlabs,
Thank you for your warm welcome.
YES!, Houston has quite a few Dig Stations! Last count I made on the Locators was about 50, with about 8 HD's.
Fortunately, there is an Antenna Farm about 7 miles south of me, and most of the Xmiters are there (within 6°) :)
Given that there are only three other Farms in the regon (within 60 mi range) I can get about 30 of the total with just one setting.
Not interested in all of them, several in foreign language, or other content which doesn't interest me.

I have a Attic Mounted RShk, VU-90XR VHF/UHF/FM, happen to be in a HOA (Homeowners Assn) and they don't like things sticking up over the houses! But given that my VU90 is a large directional (80" boom), i can punch through the Shingles and REACH out and touch um! :D

Again, thanks for the welcome, and I'm looking forward to making many Online Friends here.

Hello Victor !,
Best place, yes, i agree! I've been on several Forums (TV-other) and really prefer a smaller forum. I like a more personal "touch", and i find that most of the others, are just SO big/busy, that it becomes quite impersonal. I certainly hope that the membership continues to grow, and I'll do what I can to promote that! From what I have seen so far, keeping that "personal touch" here, won't be any problem, given who's running the show ! ;)

Have a good Day ! :)

Howdy backacha Jhonny ! :D

I could't agree with you more ! Evey time I come on this Forum, i meet another after another nice person,
and somehow i don't expect it to stop anytime soon.

I'm sure TV's will be the major topic, but, with a new site like this, many topics will arise, and give us a chance
to share in many ways, and get to know each other even better.

I'm glad that you joined, and me TOO !

Have a good Day ! :)

PS: you do pronounce your handle "Jay-Honny", right ?

Hello Everyone! It is nice to meet all of you. I think one of the coolest things about this forum is that there is such a diverse group of knowledge here. We have some people that really seem to know quite a bit about HDTV and tuners, but we also have novices that are trying to learn. I really love that this community has such a sense of helpfulness!

Hi everybody!

It's nice to meet you all. I'm looking forward to discussing HDTV, converter, and antenna stuff with you all. I'm glad that there seems to be quite a few very knowledgable people in these forums to talk about this stuff with.

We're just few people around here and it seems we start to get along together. I'm very glad that I'm part of this...donno, little community I might say. I'm always looking to see what you've discussed and it seems sometimes we've had same problems. It's a rainy day around here so I'm enjoying my tv.
Goodday all
