EMF Interference

Does anyone know how much of if EMF creates a problem with HD signals? I live adjacent to a power line from the Bonneville Dam to a Vancouver Washington sub-station. I have a Radio Shack UHF-VHF, 190 mile rated outdoor antenna. We are located about ten miles from the TV transmitters and are located about 50 yards from the power line. The HD signal is marginal on all stations, better on some than others. Lots of pixelation. Would it help if I mounted the antenna in the attic.

Any info would be helpful and greatly appreciated.
