dual antenna setup? or one good one

Postby uhaulkid on Mon Nov 09, 2009 3:12 pm

first sorry for spelling and typing i have 4 broken fingers. with that out of the way....
I have tried the phillips outside antenna from walmart worked ok kinda with a little amp pplugged in with it, without that cheap amp notihg almost. i bought a channel master 4228hd from them and hooek it up about 25 plus maybe good 30 feet in the air. now tress for miles no buildings etc...out in the boonies. anyway got good reciption on most all channels listed by antennaweb and fool etc etc etc. but i still cant get that 28.1 i think it is in the other direction. its the channel that csi is on whatever one that is. i cant get that network and all the others no matter how or where i aim it. so i wnet to radio shack and bouth an hbu55 which is sold at summit also but out of stock. it got a bit less it seemed but maybe not. it would get that 28.1 i think it was dont holds me to that on antennaweb. but im almost 100 sure it was that channel. but when i moved it it would break up the others down to like 4 channels left worth watching. so my question is this.
i know its a crap pot testing method what you get is what you get when you aim one one way and another another way. heres what i want to do to get all, all, all channels i can get from anywhere i can get.
run antenna 1 one way, run antenna 2 another way(aimed that is) to get the MOST channels possable. I can mount this in the roof of my mobil with a tripod or two tripods so long as they are 3.5 to 4 feet away and above below from one another. i will run them with quad rg6 of equal lengths to the power amp if i do need one. or to the joiner, combiner such as hs2 or ch9521 a i think it was?
i can run these on different or same pole from 40 to 30 feet in ait or on roof either way i have little to no inter around me expet for tress way out in the distance. poles roof whatever.

i am will to buy whatever i need to to get all the channels redundant or not that i can, more is better my wife tells me....it will be for one tv for now and then two but never more then two. so what antennas would you use and what combiner, woud you run amps, what on or what two. roof mount next and stagger in height from one anouther on pole mount 4 feet above below one anopther 35 to 41 feet in the air? i want the best two antennas, the best maxiumum amp, best joiner best cable etce etc. i will would like to have this set up and the end where it come into the home ready to go to two tvs though to not have to mess with it later. please forgive the spelling typing etc small keys broken fingers.

address if 6735 south cr 229 glen st mary florida 32040.
thanks for helping, i want the best of the best please and thank you so much.

Vince

I'm sorry, but your message was so convoluted that it is hard to understand what you are looking for. The Jacksonville stations are an easy catch from your location, but if you are looking for channel 28, which is actually WTGS from from Savannah, GA, I would never promise it to you, as it's over 90 miles away from you, and too weak to expect to get it with any reliability. What is it that you are really looking for? Expect WTGS to be out of the question for you.
