HD converter vs. digital TV

Postby pjman on Thu Jul 24, 2008 4:17 pm

Hi;

I'm 25 miles from downtown Chicago and have no problem with analog signals from my large Magnovox rooftop antenna. Using the Zenith digital converter, I'm not having a lot of luck. I'm still playing around with positioning the antenna, but I'm wondering if the built-in digital tuners in the new TVs are better than the Zenith HD converter at keeping and or boosting the digital signals.

Thoughts ?

Thanks;
Pat

I doubt tuner sensitivity is an issue here ... What is your zip code?
